While you may be just beginning to think about spring, we’re busy gearing up for fall. We headed back into the studio this week to shoot our men’s lookbook and thought you might like a little preview of what’s to come for F/W ’12. The collection is full of streamlined styles, aged washes and cool cuts. This week, we shot all of our product images on the adorable Blake from Cincinnati. (Gotta love a corn-fed midwestern model.) Next week, we’ll hit the streets to take some editorial shots and show the jeans in action. And though you won’t be able to score these babies for a few months, we’ve got lots of great new arrivals for Spring in lighter weights and washes, perfect for the warmer days ahead.

The blogosphere is buzzing about the ultra-slimming, thigh-thinning effects of the Couture Collection, so we thought we’d show you three of our favorite looks put together by style bloggers, demonstrating the range of ways you can rock Couture Collection jeans. On the left is Style With Benefits blogger Becs wearing Couture Collection 1210 Skinny in Matte Black, which she paired with stark white Converse sneaks, a layered coral cardi and blazer and a bold green baseball cap, creating a sporty look that pulls in two of spring’s biggest trends: brights and color blocking.
In the middle is Carolyn from the aptly named The Hsu Closet. (Hsu is pronounced shoe, in case anyone’s wondering. And yes, those Lanvin wedges are sick.) She glammed up her Couture Skinny in Vesper with a leather Proenza Schouler jacket underneath a fur vest from Joseph and the aforementioned to-die-for shoes. We’re digging this dressed-up, cold-weather look. It almost makes us miss the wintery chill of NYC in January. Almost.
On the right is Taylor Davies from Eat, Sleep, Denim wearing Couture Straight Leg in Matte Black, who went for a preppy look, pairing her jeans with snakeskin ballet flats, a nautical stripe sweater and a thin braided belt. This outfit is perfect for a casual day at the office or running errands on a Saturday afternoon. We love how long and thin her legs look in this style, despite the fact that she’s wearing flats. Who doesn’t need a pair of jeans they can rock with flats without the fear of looking short and stumpy?
