The James Jeans team is better referred to as a family that plays (almost) as hard as they work. Meet the people who make this denim magic happen…
When not hustling and bustling through a busy week at James Jeans, which could also be referred to as her second home, Nina makes time for the simple pleasures in life. Her absolute favorite place to be on the weekends is on the couch with her husband, a warm blanky and her four doggies for a day filled with movies. She is notorious in the office for her awe-worthy shoe collection and witty sense of humor.
Most likely to laugh at her own jokes – loudly. Marcia loves music, fashion (obviously) and is an adamant vegan. On her downtime she can be caught in bed with a glass of organic red wine and a good book… or out on the town for a fun-filled night with friends. She finds inspiration on blogs and in books but mostly out on the street. Her favorite place to “people watch” is Melrose Ave. with a few shopping bags in hand.
Architecture is a big influence on Emily’s design aesthetic and it is evident in her work, where geometric lines are favored over natural curvatures. She is always collecting architecture related books and magazines for inspiration. On weekends she enjoys taking advantage of the Los Angeles sun, whether it is at the local park or a happening new restaurant.
You can find Elisabeth holding a cup of coffee in a deep daydream about a new adventure- whether a road trip, beachside camping, star gazing or traveling abroad to Europe and Asia. She loves impromptu dance parties, observing people and cultures, and adding things to my to-do-someday list such as: gardening, painting, finishing the ten books I never finished reading last month. She gets inspired by film, art, nature and people.
Family, friends and food are all Jamie needs to survive. She has a newly found passion for health and is always on the lookout for new organic superfoods. Flea Markets are one of Jamie’s favorite places to get inspired and she shops them as often as possible. Conveniently, her roommate also happens to be her best friend and on the weekends they can be caught exploring what downtown L.A. has to offer.
